Work began in February on the expansion of the installations on the site next to the Ferrer building in Vic.
The works will result in a new freezer warehouse that will have a refrigerated chamber for 2,300 pallets and which, therefore, will enable the storage space to be double that of the current centre in Vic.
Additional spaces will also be built of two floors with new offices and an unloading bay. They have all been studied in order to produce energetically efficient spaces that are also respectful to the environment, and the provision is that everything will be in full operation this summer.
With these new installations Frigorífics Ferrer will gain in capacity, efficiency, flexibility and speed in the entry and despatch processes of the product.
